Studio Policies

LESSONS
Lessons require a commitment to attend regularly and to practice. Bring staff paper and sheet music to each lesson, and a tape or recording device, if desired. Please keep a record of lesson appointments. Lessons will begin and end on time. Parents, please make sure that you pick up your child on schedule. Parents of children under 18 are welcome to attend lessons, but younger siblings must be able to listen quietly.

FEES
An Introductory Lesson allows students and parents to see the format for the lesson, discuss goals, and to hear an assessment. The cost is $35 for 45 minutes. Lesson rates for adults (ages 19+) are $35 per half hour or $70.00 per hour. Most adults use hour lessons.. Rates for half hour lessons for students 18 years of age or younger is $32 per half hour, if paid at each lesson. Monthly fees for half hour lessons would be reduced to $30.00. per lesson or $120 (4 week month) or $150 (5 week month) payable at the beginning of the month. Children who have group lessons pay $20 per half hour. Payments are non-refundable. If the student cancels a lesson within 24 hours of the lesson, a credit will be given.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be 24 hours in advance or you will be charged for the lesson. If there are several cancellations, I will no longer teach the student. Because of the number of students, last minute cancellations or “no shows” are unacceptable.
